Many people don’t know that pediatric pharmacists (especially those who have practiced in the NICU), have a wealth of knowledge and experience with pregnancy and breastfeeding medication compatibility.
I am excited to share the Perfecting Peds staff partnered with PESI (who provides CEs to health care professionals) to create a fetal maternal medication management wellness course.
Please consider purchasing as many health care professionals are uncomfortable with medications in pregnancy which results in providers recommending inappropriately to just stop a medication. This is a disservice to both the mom and baby.
